changing my calendar to the next month.
no big deal, right? wrong. i love it. i find joy by flipping from month to month. maybe it is almost a spiritual renewal in my mind. something along the lines of "ok... these past few days or weeks may not have been all that great, but today marks the day of a new month. new begining."
it kind of reminds me of how new year's eve makes everyone go crazy & get excited about "what the next year holds" and blah, blah, blah.
for me, it's the month. when i turn the page, i get excited about how god is going to move over the next 30ish days.
today is the first day of feb. "the love month".
one of my fav things about most holidays is that reese's has a delicious extra-large, just for the season treat. this month, it's the hearts. for christmas, it's the christmas trees. easter, it's the eggs. they are beyound delish & i look forward to them almost as much as starting a new month.

I don't flip the calendar on my iPhone, so I guess I am missing out?
okay. that's so funny...because i am the same way!! i absolutely LOVE turning the pages of my calendar!! for me...it also reminds me to make the most of every day, because before i know it, another month goes by... :)
