they live in sarasota which is about an hour away & jordan leads worship for their church that meets on sat nights. i need to reiterate just how refreshing it was. good friends, good worship, good prayer, good laughs. it was exactly what i needed & i am so glad it worked out for us to go down there.
you know when you meet someone and you swear that they are you in a different body? they think like you, they feel like you, they dream like you... they everything like you. for me, her name is kristin. if i didn't know better... i would swear that we were seperated at birth. i am so grateful for her thoughts, her sense of humor, her ability to be real and show emotion. i love her. it was extremely hard to leave and as soon as we pulled out of the driveway, i quickly asked grant if we could move to sarasota. we agreed that we would just visit as often as possible.
when we got home, we were greeted by a houseguest. not a good one, either. a friendly little lizard. a bright green little guy & he was fast like none other. we tried to vacuum him up (i know... that's so gross now that i think about it!), but he got away. he is currently roaming our home & im sure will taunt me every chance he gets. it's not like i havent ever shared my home with a lizard though... last year, one lived in my closet for months (gall... if my mom knew that, she might kill me!). those little suckas camouflage themselves so you don't remember they are there until you go to grab your black stilettos & he's chillin on strap!
on that note, i am off to bed... well, if these dang oscars would wrap up, that is.
