this weekend i am going to ft myers to rendezvous with my girlfriends and i couldn't be more excited. but, in order to get there at a decent time, i need to leave lakeland right after work. but, in order to leave lakeland right after work, i had to be all packed and ready to go. no big deal... yeah right.

since my new car doesn't have fancy ipod hook-up yet, i am stuck with the good ol' cd player. so, in order to make my 2 hour drive more enjoyable, while rushing around this morning, i decided to burn a few cd's. well, then i go to leave for work... "where o where are my beloved freshly-burned cd's?". NOWHERE! so, after about 6 trips up and down, up and down, up and down the stairs, i finally located them. in my car. classic.

so, not only was i rushing around in the rain trying to find my dear cd's, i was late for work... which leads me to my latest annoyance. 8 am. my boss recently implemented... well, started inforcing... our 8 am requirement. everyone has to be here a 8 now. i guess it's better than 7:30, but quickly pales to my usual 8:45. =(
