memorial day.

i have this huge checklist of things i would like to get done today... but honestly, i dont feel like doing any of them.

cleaning cars, doing laundry, hitting the gym, scrubbing my kitchen, sweeping the deck... none of these appeal to me right now. is that bad??

i am laying in bed right now at 10:32am and i dont really feel guilty. sometimes i think that this is how most of my mornings would be spent if i didnt work. some call it laziness, but i call it rejuvenation! i need these moments to just catch up, think and pray.

we are going to a party in a few hours and i think we are cooking out! i LOVE cookouts. we are kind of on a roll right now cause this will be our second in the matter of a week! praise god! somebody should really teach me how to grill some tasty burgers and i will be cookin out like there's no tomorrow.

in other news... ginger graduated from high school this weekend and gretchen graduated from masters commission. i am so proud of both of them! growing up with two brothers, i never knew how much i missed by not having a sister (let alone two sisters!). they are so special to me and i love them dearly!

we are going to indy on thursday to photograph a wedding/spend time with the thompson crew. i am praying for some good northern weather and a bonfire or something of the sort. bonfires are just one of those random things that i classify with the north. bonfires in florida are mega lame cause its already hot.


anyways... a random update from misty... nothing new. now if i could only get becca to update her stupid blog! i think i am going to go on a recruitment frenzy & force my close friends to a) get a blog if they dont have one and b) update so i can keep tabs on them!



UPDATE: i have been so productive today! i made a delish dessert (my oatmeal, choc & caramel one...) and it was a big hit at the party! i also cleaned the whole loft from top to bottom minus one measly little bedroom! i cant wait for davina to get here!!
