this year, grant filed our taxes and took care of all that nonsense that i will never really understand anyways. turns out, we owed $9. yeah, that kind of stung at first (especially considering some of my friends somehow scored like $1500!).
well, bush (& his people) are doing that $600 refund to help boost the economy... yada, yada, yada. so, grant & i should be getting $1200 (which is fab!!).
ok. turns out... if you didn't actually get a refund (we owed...), your economy-boosting-dinero doesn't get directly-deposited. we have to wait for a check. COME ON... this is the 21st century, people.
needless to say... i won't be seeing green until mid-june... til then, ill be dreaming about this .

the same thing happened with my parents and the whole, "let's give you extra money to keep the economy going, but you're not going to spend it on anything worthwhile so there's really no point to give you extra money" thing. ha.
