revelations & jibber.

we journeyed to sarasota this past weekend to see the rippys and as always... it was a fantastic time. unfortunately, i never get the camera inspiration when we are with them (quite unfortunate, if i do say so myself!), but nonetheless... you can take my word that it was fab.

right now it is 1153pm and you may be wondering why i am awake. to this, i have no answer. i just layed down to get some quality shut-eye and my eyes wouldn't shut. i started thinking about this and that and before i knew it, mr. mac was on my lap & i was rambling about nothing. needless to say... you are still reading so i must be semi-interesting. no?


tomorrow should be an interesting day in the office and ill leave it at that. i am so excited, nervous, proud... more about this later!

in other news... we are going to indy a week from thurs!! i love getting to visit family (even if it isn't my mn family). the thompsons are def one blessing i so often take for granted. they have loved me like their own and not once have they ever made me feel like i let them down in a daughter-in-law. before grant and i got married, i was always so afraid of not doing grants laundry as good as his mom and not cooking as well, etc... but, they love me even though i may accidentally shrink a shirt every now and then and they certainly don't judge me for my dinner-in-a-box meals! i pray that i bless them as much as they bless me, but i know that is a long-shot!

my morning routine usually consists of my alarm going off at 625 & i hop in the shower. then, i dry off & wrap my hair in the towel & jump back into bed until 7. well, this morning... i had a revelation. i can get up at 7, be out the door by 735 and get to work by 805 (which is still 15 min before my boss!). SCORE.
