missing fall & other misc nonsense.

well, it's october and i feel like these past few months have really flown by. lots of changes, lots of emotional days, lots of newness.

i will be going to minnesota in mid-oct and can't wait to experience fall again. i don't realize how much i love fall until i live someplace that fall consists of less-muggy days and better hair. i miss crisp fall days where it's a little too chilly to wear a t-shirt, but just chilly enough that you can pull out a scarf or sweater and sport that winter fashion like there's no tomorrow. i miss seeing the leaves change (what feels like overnight) into their vibrant oranges and reds and light up the sky. i miss the chill that fall brings. it sends shivers down your back to remind you that the holidays are just around the corner. oh, christmas, you will be here before i know it...

in other news... my house is the cleanest and most moved in it has ever been since we moved in july (ha). since my mom and dad are here visiting, mr. handyman abbott has been putting up curtain rods, fixing drains, etc. i love having a dad that knows how to fix anything and everything (and is willing to do it!). i think we will be putting up a fan or two in the next couple of days too... get excited, becca!

also, i will be going to two different concerts in a couple weeks. matt nathanson & the hotel cafe tour. can't wait. shall be a few good shows, to say the least.
