melting pot.

on friday night, grant & i decided that we needed some good quality time. with that said... we went to this place we had heard about for over a year named 'the melting pot'. it's a trendy fondue shop & they have them all over florida & california (as well as a few other states).

how it works is there are 4 courses: cheese, salad, meats & of course chocolate.

cheese- you can choose from 6 diff cheeses & they bring out breads, apples (sounds odd, but it was actually really good) & a few veggies.

salad- nothing too exciting (esp for someone who isnt really a fan of salad). there were like 5 diff salads to choose from.

meats- you choose from 4 or 5 diff kinds of oils with diff spices. they then bring out filet mignon, chicken, pork & shrimp. all the meats are raw & you cook them in the oil & they give you like 10 different sauces & spices.

chocolate- this was by far the best part! there are about 10 diff kind of chocolate combinations you can choose from. we chose the "smore fondue". it was milk chocolate with a marshmallow topping and crushed up graham crackers in the choc. they give you a plate with cheesecake, strawberries, marshamallows, choc covered marshamallows, bananas, brownies & rice krispie bars. it was heaven!


all that said... the bill for just g & i was $103. it was def a good night out though!
