breathe.

it has been raining for the past 3 or 4 days now. and the strange thing is... i am so loving it. sure, it royally bites the dust when i am on my way to my car after work and it decides to downpour, but there is something so refreshing about a fierce rainfall. over the past two days i have been trying to switch my music choice up when im in the car. generally it is: john mayer, united, colbie caillat, john mayer & back again. well... i am not longer stuck in a rut. i found an old, but good, album on the ol' ipod this morning. i remember when i got hooked on it (along with everyone else in the youth group) and blared it every time i got in my car. its "beautiful" by vineyard. some of you may never have heard of it, but it is def worth downloading at least for a few songs. some of my fav lyrics are below.

to me... rain is such a peaceful, cleansing thing and i cant get enough of it. rain is one of those things that without it, everything would die. i want so badly for god to be the rain in my life. i dont want to try and do life without him. i dont want to take the reigns in my own hands.
